I’ve tried a few of Osavi’s products and since finishing this bottle I’ve been regularly buying more to keep my supply topped up.The bottles are a thick, darkened glass, which is ideal for long-term storage and difficult to break if dropped.The oil is free from any taste of being rancid so it must have a good shelf life.While it’s not cheap, it does work out cheaper than taking capsules, although the trade-off is that you need to take a teaspoon of this and quickly follow it with a drink.It’s a good way to get a large dosage of omega 3 for a relatively affordable price, so as long as you can stomach drinking the oil, which to be honest is not that bad, then this really is a good alternative to capsules.

The benefits of taking omega 3 supplements are well attested, so it comes down to comparing brands. You will like these if you prefer taking liquid to pills. It is easier to swallow but you do get a taste. I quite liked this taste, which is an oily texture and slight lemon flavour. The ingredients are what you would expect; no surprises. The oil is produced in Norway, and if the Norwegians do not know fish oil, no one does. The dosage is a teaspoonful each day, so the cost depends on what size teaspoon you use, but I calculate that 500ml will give you about 140 doses. So, slightly on the expensive side, at current prices, but not excessively so.
