I like the scent of this shampoo, it is sort of manly but also light and clean smelling. I am female and my husband and I share two other Uppercut products (their mousse and their dandruff shampoo) and those two products have scents that are stronger and more like a men’s cologne, which makes sense because this brand is geared towards men. But this strengthening shampoo has a lighter, more unisex scent. I like the way this shampoo lathers nicely, rinses clean and leaves my hair soft. It contains biotin which is said to strengthen hair, however, it is a bit too early for me to tell if that works after using this shampoo for only a few weeks.Overall, my husband and I both like the Uppercut brand, including this shampoo. It has a fresh light scent that is more unisex than the two other Uppercut products we have. It works well and leaves hair feeling soft and clean.

First off I will say that the scent is the biggest selling factor. it smells incredible, nothing quite like it I would say that I have found in any of my other shampoos. Being said, I can’t rightfully justify 8 oz at $14. that’s just insane really, it’s a tiny little bottle that smells great essentially, but you get to pay $14 for it. other than that, it leaves my hair really dry, which can be combated with conditioner, so I’m not exactly sure if this is essentially supposed to trick you into thinking your hair is thick, or if it actually does what it claims and helps fight hair loss. all in all awesome scent, wish every male shampoo had it, but I don’t think I would pay the price for 8 oz of product. you do with that what you will
