This is the best dye I have used! The grey hairs are now coloured and my hair is incredibly shiny! The only dye I have seen in shops or online that has no harsh chemicals. The Every brand I have seen of so called healthy tints or semi permeant dyes etc have not been like this one – this is the only one I found after extensive research that has only herbs and vegetable colours and so does not damage your hair at all and actually leaves it better afterwards!My mid to light brown hair had about 15% grey stands and and pure white at the temples. All of the grey is now covered! The pure white part is now pale golden blonde and the non grey hair is a very natural looking warm golden brown.If you have a complexion and colouring that has warm undertones (Springs and Autumns , if you have ready Colour ME Beautiful) this dye will really suit you. If however, you have blue undertones to your skin then the golden hue of this particular dye may not suit you.Application: For the last two washes, I hadn’t used conditioner so there wasn’t a coating on my hair which makes the dye stick better. Also, I washed my hair with a health shop shampoo that doesn’t contain silicon or plastic which coats the hair also making the dye not take as well. I rowelled dried and combed my hair. This was the only negative part of the process as it’s so slow to comb without conditioner on my hair.Unlike other hair dyes, one box was plenty for my long hair with some even to spare. I wore thin plastic gloves (not supplied) and made it to the consistency of thin yogurt. It looked like a wet cow pat! It smelt of hemp powder. It didn’t drip everywhere when applying and it easily washed off the bath. After applying, I piled my hair up and then put on a plastic bag and then an old towel on top. I wiped my hair line with damp toilet paper and got on with other jobs in the house for 40 minutes.Stood in the bath to wash out the dye and then when it was dry, revelled at the most natural looking hair job ever! My son said my hair looked like a 20 years olds! It smells about 5% of hemp, but not a problem. The difference between this vegetable dye and other dyes is that my hair looks so natural and changes colours in different lights – from pale blonde in the sun to dark golden brown in the sun and many colours in between. So pleased with it!
