My friend is a huge lover of her purple shampoo and swears it is the salvation of her white-gray hair. And because of this she has been after me for ages to jump on this bandwagon. I’m not saying my hair isn’t gray, but I have streaks and section of anywhere from my natural dark brown, to gray to chunky streaks of white which are mostly underneath. I feel the colour is pretty decent, not exhibiting any yellow tones or brass ones. But I saw this purple conditioner not only neutralized grassiness in the grays and whites, but also softened and conditioned the hair, so why not give this a try? And having very fine textured hair, I’ve been warned by my stylist to ensure I always use a good conditioner. So the hair conditions mask was ordered.I was shocked at what a bright and highly pigmented purple this conditioner was! But this colour never transmitted to my skin, which is always dry and susceptible to staining. It wasn’t as thick as I’ve seen with some other repairing masks, reminding me of a pudding cup consistency. It spread through the hair nicely and wasn’t over scented, thankfully. Both times I used it, I was so pleased with how soft my hair felt even from the rinsing it out stage. This softness has carried into the 4th day post wash. I also feel that my seemingly always there flyaways have been diminished some. And this appears to be combining with my other hair care products nicely. Currently, I am planning to use this every second or third hair wash and may up that to every second in the drier winter months. A very nice conditioning hair mask!
