Hatte diese Maske vor zwei Jahren entdeckt. Bin sehr zufrieden. Meine Haare sehen sehr gut aus (trotz färben), sind weich und glänzend. Bekomme oft Komplimente für meine schönen Haare. Also: alles richtig gemacht 😉

This was a surprisingly good hair mask and seems to have helped with my scalp.I bought to use along with the Wella sensitive scalp shampoo as I have been searching for, what feels like, since the *very* beginning of time, a shampoo and conditioner combination to help with my sore, itchy and flaky scalp. But to also combat oily roots and dry ends… an almost impossible task!!I have tried hundreds of products and most likely spent thousands, no exaggeration, on all sorts of combinations of this, that and the other. But nothing ever seemed to get it quite right.Anyway, finally I realised that my scalp was dry and it was producing the oil to try and compensate for the dryness which in turn was giving me the greasy roots. But using a conditioner near the roots only seemed to be making the greasiness worse, of course, and not really doing much for the scalp. So after a few more trial and error sessions, I came across this.As technically it isn’t a conditioner, I was interested as to whether it would cause even more oiliness, especially as the directions said to also apply to the scalp. So, prepared for an absolute grease bomb, I followed all the instructions on the shampoo and the mask, I gave it a go.Whilst on my scalp, I did feel that slight, refreshing tingle of menthol, but I couldn’t smell it though. This also happened with the shampoo too (which I have reviewed separately). After blow drying, I was quite pleased to see my hair nowhere near as greasy as it had been when using conditioner. In fact, it looked swishy and fluffy. So next day, a bit of grease, but again, nothing like what I was expecting. My scalp seemed a bit less irritated but not by much. But as it wasn’t making me too oily I decided to persevere.I washed again on day 3, same process and have continued like this for the past few weeks.I have to say that my scalp, genuinely, is around 90% less itchy and irritated. Also, very nearly, flake free.Oiliness, I think a bit also depends on hormones etc (for me as a woman), a lot less reduced compared to initial use. I could push it to 5 days without washing my hair, but I don’t just down to personal preference.I have now started using the shampoo and this mask, alternating between a regular shampoo/conditoner and trying to wean off it to see if my scalp has been repaired, restored or whatever you want to call it.If it has then I will be forever thankful to this mask and the shampoo. If it turns out that I just seem to have a sensitive scalp then I will, without a doubt, carry on with them.As the only negative I can say is that the mask is fairly pricey. So is the shampoo. But, if you really are suffering or have been for a long time, you will no doubt be willing to pay it anyway… I guess that is where they make their money, as apart from prescription treatments, which don’t respect the hair itself (as a woman this is an important factor to me) there really isn’t many options out there, believe me I’ve searched high and low!!Wella is also a trusted brand that is well known in the industry for putting its money into research and development of its products. It’s definitely a hard working hair mask. Especially when paired with the shampoo.I’d definitely recommend giving it a go.
