Avène is my goto for my reactive skin (seborrheic dermatitis – give their cicalfate line a try if you have a flare up), and this serum does not disappoint. I’ve tried Vitamin C products many times, only for my skin to be like -nope, nope nope.I’m now on my second bottle of this serum, and I’ve had ZERO reaction. My skin looks healthier, my complexion is more even, and I even have some color back in my cheeks. It’s a water-based serum that looks like milk – no oil, no silicon. Very nice to apply. Not much odor that I could detect but my sense of smell is shot.It took about 2 months to go through the first bottle (applying twice a day), and it did not oxidate at all.
